Like previous incarnations, the MA5D also contains a built-in ammo counter and compass.

Rocket Pod Turret

The M80B Multiple Launch Rocket System, more commonly known as the rocket pod turret, is a heavy weapon featured in Halo 5: Guardians. It was employed by the UNSC in conflicts after the Requiem Campaign. As support weapons, picking up the rocket pod turret would result in a lack of mobility.

Magnum Pistol

The M6H Personal Defense Weapon System is a M6 Series-handgun manufactured by Misriah Armory. It is an up-sized Officer's model and has a smart-linked KFA-2 ×2 scope and an electroless nickel finish. It was adopted as the standard-issue personal sidearm of all branches of the UNSCby 2555.

The Weapon/Anti-Vehicle Model 6 Grindell/Galilean Nonlinear Rifle, also known as the Spartan Laser, is the UNSC's ground-based, man-portable, anti-vehicle, directed energy weapon.

It is one of two known battery-powered UNSC weapons, the other being the Model 99 Special Application Scoped Rifle (used by Sgt. A. Johnson during Operation: KALEIDOSCOPE) and is the most powerful infantry weapon fielded by UNSC forces, even overpowering the Rocket Launcher. It is capable of penetrating multiple targets, including tanks, unlike the Sniper Rifle, which can only penetrate infantry.

Shotgun

An upgrade from the previous M45 and M90 models, the M45D fires M296 SC 8-gauge magnum shells with a magnetorheological dampening system to reduce recoil, making it more comfortable to use in the battlefield. Although significantly more technologically improved than its predecessors, the M45D lacks a smart-link controllable choke.

Rocket Launcher

The M41 SSR fires 102mm HEAT shaped chargerockets. The launcher sports a 2x scope and can fire rockets over long distances with devastating accuracy, although its altitude decreases over longer distances.

When reloaded, the barrels are removed and two preloaded barrels are then inserted back into the unit. With this mechanism, a Marine can greatly reduce the weight he has to carry without throwing the weapon away like some contemporary disposable rocket launchers
